‘Pushpa 2’ has become one of the most successful movies of 2024 and has received immense love from the audience. Amid the praise and love, the movie has also been surrounded by several controversies. After the stampede death incident, Allu Arjun landed in another legal trouble but this time it was due to a scene from ‘Pushpa 2’.

According to reports, Congress leader Theenmar Mallanna has filed a complaint against Allu Arjun for allegedly insulting police in a scene from ‘Pushpa 2’. In a scene, Allu Arjun’s character urinates in a swimming pool while a police officer is in it. The Congress leader called the scene ‘disrespectful’ and ‘offensive’.

Allu Arjun was earlier arrested in connection to a woman’s death due to a stampede during the screening of Pushpa 2. He was later released on an interim bail. Amid the backlash, his house was recently vandalised by some protesters. Allu Arjun’s father Allu Aravind reacted to this incident and said, “Everyone has seen what happened at our house today. But it is time for us to act accordingly. Now is not the right time for us to react to anything.” He added, “The police are ready to take away anyone else who comes here to create a ruckus. No one should encourage incidents like these. But I will not react just because the media is here. Now is the time to practice restraint. The law will take its own course.”

The actor earlier penned a note on X and urged his fans not to resort to any sort of abusive behaviour. He also shared that strong action will be taken against those, who will indulge in abusive behaviour. He wrote, “I appeal to all my fans to express their feelings responsibly, as always, and not resort to any kind of abusive language or behavior both online and offline. Misrepresenting as my fans with fake IDs and fake profiles, if someone indulges in abusive posts, strong action will be taken against them. I request the fans not to engage with such posts.”

Allu Arjun also announced the donation of Rs 25 lakh to the victim’s family in the stampede death case. Producers of ‘Pushpa 2’ also announced the donation of Rs 50 lakh.
