The title and first look poster of Rakul Preet Singh and Vaishnav Tej’s untitled film with director Krish will be released on 20th August at 10:15 am. The shoot of the upcoming untitled film has already wrapped up and currently, the film is in the post production stage.
Today morning, Rakul took to her Instagram account and confirmed the same. Sharing an adorable first glimpse of the flick, she wrote, “Get ready for #Production8!! It’s a spectacular adventure with Mega Sensation #PanjaVaisshnavTej. It is my most author-backed role & I am super excited to share this with you all. It was a privilege to work with the team of @DirKrish #Sannapureddi @mmkeeravaani @gnanashekarvs We are unveiling the first look on 20 Aug 21, at 1015am @YRajeevReddy1 #JSaiBabu @MangoMusicLabel @firstframeentertainments(Sic).”
In the video, the villagers are shown walking through the forest with their cattle and sheep, reaching home at sunset. Though we can’t see faces in the wide angle, Vaishnav Tej is also there in the group.
The movie is based on the novel Kondapolam penned by Sannapureddy Venkata Rami Reddy. The untitled village based drama is produced by Saibabu Jagarlamudi and Rajeev Reddy under the banner of First Frame Entertainment. The music of the movie has been composed by MM Keeravani and cinematography is by Gnana Shekar VS.
The untitled flick will be Tej’s second film after the release of romantic drama Uppena, which was helmed by Buchi Babu Sana and in this film, he shared the screen space with Krithi Shetty. The romantic entertainer received positive reviews from critics and audience alike.
On the work front, Preet Singh was last seen in the Nithiin-starrer Check, written and directed by Chandra Sekhar Yeleti. The actress has an interesting slate of upcoming movies. She has been busy shooting Doctor G opposite Ayushmann Khurrana. Directed by Anubhuti Kashyap, the film is a campus comedy drama where Rakul and Ayushmann play medical students.
Besides this, Rakul will be seen playing the role of a pilot in MayDay, which is directed and produced by Ajay Devgn. He will also star in the film. Rakul has Thank God with Ajay Devgn lined up as well. Sidharth Malhotra will play the lead role in the film.
The actress is awaiting the release of her Tamil movies Ayalaan opposite Sivakarthikeyan and Indian 2 alongside Kamal Haasan.
