Akon’s fans, it’s time to rejoice! The singer-rapper is coming to India for a grand tour in three cities. The Grammy-nominated artist enjoys massive popularity in India and has also collaborated with Indian musicians for chartbuster songs like ‘Chammak Challo’. The ‘Lonely’ hitmaker’s tour is powered by the Entertainment agency White Fox and co-produced by Percept Live. The tickets will be available on the District app by Zomato.

Announcing Akon’s tour, the official Instagram page of District Updates wrote, “IT’S OFFICIAL, IT’S HAPPENING! Back with the bangers, back on tour – global icon @akon returns to India this November.”

Akon will perform in Delhi on November 9, Bengaluru on November 14 and in Mumbai on November 16. HSBC cardholders will get early access starting August 8 at 1 PM, with general sales opening on August 10 at 10 PM, exclusively on District by Zomato.

Expressing his excitement before the India tour, Akon stated, “India has always shown me so much love — it’s like a second home. The energy, the culture, the fans… It’s on another level. I’m beyond excited to be back and perform live for y’all. This tour is gonna be something special — let’s make history together!”

Meanwhile, Aman Kumar, co-founder of White Fox, further added, “Bringing Akon back to India is a celebration. This is the night fans have been waiting for. We promise an extravagant experience that will be remembered for years to come.”
