Akhilesh Yadav sleeps for 12 hours, spends 6 more with friends; BJP will win UP election 2022: Yogi Adityanath

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath took a jibe at Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav saying that he is a ‘privileged’ person and is unaware of the facts regarding the welfare schemes of the BJP government and the COVID vaccination drive as he “sleeps for 12 hours and then enjoys around six hours with his friends”.

In an interview with ANI, CM Adityanath further took aim at Yadav saying the Samajwadi Party chief does not want SP leader Azam Khan to come out of jail because it will pose a threat to his position.

The BJP leader exuded confidence in winning the UP election 2022 with an absolute majority.

Lambasting the Opposition over ‘no development’ and ‘deteriorating law and order’ allegations against his government in Uttar Pradesh, the firebrand BJP chief minister said that when BJP was not in power, the state used to witness riots every 3-4 days, curfews were very common that used to continue for months.

“Today, in the past five years, there has been no riot, no curfew in the state. Businessmen and women aren’t killed. Today, Kanwar Yatra takes place with all pomp and show; it isn’t only a mark of respect to the religion, but also gives a sense of security to the people,” Adityanath exhorted.

He also highlighted his government’s policies saying that the BJP government in Uttar Pradesh only believes in development for all and doesn’t differentiate on caste or religion while distributing social welfare schemes to the people.

Earlier the politics of Uttar Pradesh used to revolve around caste, religion and family. Today, development, good governance, Garib Kalyan, villages, women, farmers and youth are on the agenda, the UP CM stressed.

“BJP has released its ‘Lok Kalyan Sankalp Patra’ which talks about nationalism, all-around development and welfare of the poor. It will be implemented with full honesty,” CM Adityanath further said.
