Ajay Devgn gets schooled over internet trends by kids Nysa and Yug: ‘Pops, this is old fashion’

Ajay Devgn has been riding the viral wave on the internet for two reasons: his excellent performance in Rudra and another solid one in Gangubai KathiawadiRudra is the actor’s first foray into the online world aka OTT. In Gangubai Kathiawadi, on the other hand, the actor had a small but pivotal role. Ajay Devgn discussed keeping up with the latest trends in a recent Metaverse interview and it is certainly interesting, if anything.
When asked if his daughter Nysa and son Yug kept him informed about the latest digital developments, Ajay said that he believed we can all benefit from what the younger generation has to offer and that we must learn from them if we are to keep up with the world.
He went on to say that there are times when he is unable to keep up with the flow of trends, and that his children also educate him. “Apart from my kids, my nephews, and everybody who is younger around me, we actually ask them what’s cool because the language is also changing every three months. I mean there are terms which are used and then you learn that term and use it and after three months, they turn around and say ‘Pops, this is old fashion!’” Ajay Devgn told India Today.
He explained that having frequent interaction with younger people keeps him up to date on the latest technology. “So you need to keep up and to do that, you need to have lots of conversations and need to learn from them.”
He added that that is how he sees it and that he earlier had no idea what was going on, and his kids were the ones that explained everything to him.
Rudra, starring Ajay Devgn, debuted to critical acclaim. The riveting psychological crime thriller, directed by ace director Rajesh Mapuskar, celebrated Ajay Devgn’s OTT debut, in which he is essaying the role of a cop. The series is bankrolled by Applause Entertainment in collaboration with BBC Studios India, and it stars Raashii Khanna, Esha Deol, Atul Kulkarni, Ashwini Kalsekar, Tarun Gahlot, Ashish Vidyarthi, and Satyadeep Misra in key roles. He has also received praise for his portrayal in Alia Bhatt’s Gangubai Kathiawadi.
