Ajay Devgn and Alia Bhatt, considered to be two of the most talented artists in Bollywood, will share screen space in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Gangubai Kathiawadi. The biographical crime drama has been making waves ever since the teaser was released in February 2021. Movie buffs are quite excited for Gangubai Kathiawadi as it features Alia in a never-before-seen role. While the Raazi actress is playing the titular character, Ajay will be seen in a special appearance in the film. 

Ajay Devgn, who is a proud owner of a Rolls Royce Cullinan, showed his swanky car to Alia at the film’s trailer launch event in Mumbai. The Gully Boy actress couldn’t help but gush over the SUV. She seemed to be mighty impressed with Ajay’s car as she praised the vehicle’s colour. In a video that is going viral on social media, Alia can be heard saying, “Wow, beautiful colour.” 

According to reports, Ajay spent a whopping amount to purchase the luxury SUV. The base price for Rolls Royce Cullinan is Rs 6.95 crore. Interestingly, Ajay was the third Indian to buy the expensive car back in 2019. T-series Chairman and Managing Director Bhushan Kumar and industrialist Mukesh Ambani also own the same car, which is considered one of the expensive SUVs in the market.  

Ahead of the release of trailer, Ajay Devgn shared his first look from Gangubai Kathiawadi on his Instagram handle. The Singham star captioned his post as, ” Apni pehchaan se chaar chand lagane, aa rahe hai hum! Trailer out tomorrow.”

Gangubai Kathiawadi will hit the silver screens on February 25, 2022. The highly-anticipated flick co-starring Seema Pahwa, Indira Tiwari and Vijay Raaz has been delayed multiple times due to the COVID-19 crisis in India.  

Alia and Ajay will also be seen in SS Rajamouli’s RRR, which will arrive in the cinema halls on March 25, 2022. The two stars have forayed into South cinema with the period action drama, which stars Jr. NTR and Ram Charan in lead roles.
