After Naga Chaitanya’s Second Marriage, Samantha Ruth Pradhu Talks About Moving On; ‘I Refuse To…’

Samantha Ruth Prabhu recently made headlines because her ex-husband, Naga Chaitanya, married Sobhita Dhulipala in a small ceremony. However, for a long time after his ex-husband’s wedding, she hasn’t opened up about her feelings officially.

But recently, in an interview with GQ India, Samantha talked about her feelings towards people who move on to new relationships. She explained if she felt jealous of them.

Samantha Spoke About Moving On

Samantha expressed her desire to challenge and dismiss a common belief in society: that a woman’s achievements depend on whether or not she is married. When asked what she thinks about people who have entered into new relationships or are in different stages of their lives, she replied, “I’ve been through too much in my life to dwell on that.”

When asked if she ever felt jealous of them, she responded, “Oh no. One quality that I completely dissociate myself from is envy. I refuse to let that be a part of my core. I think envy is the root of all evil. Everything else is fine, but there’s no space for anything as unhealthy as envy.”

About Naga Chaitanya Wedding To Sobhita Dhulipala

Naga Chaitanya and Samantha got married in 2017, celebrating their love with both Christian and traditional South Indian wedding ceremonies. Unfortunately, after three years of marriage, they announced their separation in 2021. In December 2024, Chaitanya married Sobhita in a beautiful and intimate wedding ceremony.

When discussing his life as a married man, Naga Chaitanya shared his thoughts with the Hindustan Times. “Married life is great! I’m totally enjoying it. It’s just been a couple of months. I think we both invest equally in work and life outside of work, so we have that work-life balance very much intact. I think that’s one of the qualities we both really connected on.”
