Following the massive success of Pushpa: The Rise, Bollywood filmmaker Manish Shah has announced that he will be releasing the Allu Arjun and Pooja Hegde’s Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo in Hindi on January 26 in theatres.
And now, Shah is all set to release the Hindi version of Ram Charan and Samantha’s blockbuster film Rangasthalam. The film is scheduled to release for Hindi audiences in February 2022. The release date will be officially announced soon.
Exhibitors have welcomed the decision to release the film and are thankful for its rich content during the current dry spell. Manish Shah has also put forward very minimal terms and conditions while also ensuring the revenue sharing is in favour of the cinema owners.
Rangasthalam, directed by Sukumar was the biggest Telugu hit of 2018. The movie also starred several renowned actors like Aadhi Pinisetty, Jagapathi Babu, Prakash Raj, Naresh, and Anasuya Bharadwaj. The film minted Rs 210 crore worldwide and broke several box office records. Ram Charan’s acting prowess in this movie was appreciated by people from across the country. He did a thorough homework by learning the body language, accent of a man from a rural area and made everyone believe in his character.
Going by SS Rajamouli’s statement during the promotions of RRR, Ram Charan is all set to work for another project with Sukumar. The ace director opined that the film would be another Rangasthalam like hit, especially after hearing the narration of its opening sequence from Sukumar himself.
On the work front, Charan is currently waiting for the release of the much-anticipated RRR.The movie was supposed to release on January 7, 2022, but got postponed due to rising cases of COVID across the country. Now, the makers are reportedly planning to release the film on April 29, during the Eid weekend. Interestingly, SS Rajamouli’s previous blockbuster Baahubali 2: The Conclusion was released on April 28, 2017.
Apart from this, Ram Charan is all set to play the lead in acclaimed filmmaker Shankar Shanmugham’s upcoming film. The political thriller movie also features Anjali, Jayaram, Naveen Chandra and comedy star Sunil in key roles.
