Actor Drashti Dhami and her husband Niraj Khemka are excited to start a new chapter of their life as parents after welcoming a baby girl on October 2, 2024. This happiness has come into their life after 9 long years. The couple got married on February 21, 2015.
Couple made the big announcement through a joint Instagram post. Along with a creative post that read ‘Straight from the heaven into our hearts, a whole new life a whole new start – Elated parents Dhrashti Dhami and Niraj Khemka’, she wrote a caption: She is Here 22.10.2024
Several actor and friends congratulated the couple in the comment section, and sent them good wishes. Among them were Jennifer Winget, Karun Grover, Nakuul Mehta, Shakti Arora, Kishwer Merchantt, Aditya Seal.
Drashti announced her pregnancy in June this year with a beautiful post where she could be seen holding a poster that read “Could be Pink, Could be Blue. All we know is that we are due! October 2024.” On the side, she wrote a caption: In a galaxy not so far away, a tiny rebel is joining our crazy tribe🤰♥️ Please send love, blessings, cash & french fries our way 🍟 We can’t wait for October 2024! 🧿”
Throughout these nine months, the actor kept her fans updated about her health, activities and more. She often posted about her workout routine and her eating habits. Moreover, she shared funny posts and pictures about how she can’t wait for this to get over so that she can hold her baby.
In September, a month before her baby’s arrival, Drasti’s close friend and fellow actor Sanaya Irani had thrown a baby shower for the soon-to-be mother. The party was joined by several other TV actors including Sanaya’s husband Mohit Sehgal, actor Nakuul Mehta, his wife Jankee Parekh among others.
