Vijay Sethupathi has returned to the big screen with his crime comedy film ‘Ace’. The movie also stars Rukmini Vasanth and Yogi Babu in the lead roles. Vijay plays the role of Kannan, who wants to start a new life in a foreign country but gets dragged into a shark circle.

As Ace has arrived in theatres, check how netizens are reacting to this movie.

While speaking to Times Now, Rukmini Vasanth talked about her experience of working with Vijay Sethupathi. “I have a lot of combination scenes with Vijay Sethupathi sir, and it was great to witness his dynamic performances in person. What is more exciting is that Ace is a comedy caper, something which I never had the opportunity to be a part of. Primarily, Vijay Sethupathi and Yogi Babu handle most of the wild-fun, I have for the first time dipped my toes into such a scenario,” she said.

She added, “I shot mostly in Malaysia and Chennai, the tropical areas where I had to adjust to the climatic conditions, but Vijay Sethupathi’s involvement and dedication made me learn how to adapt and get accustomed to the new environment.”

In a recent interview with Hindustan Times, Vijay talked about his star status and being labelled as actor’s actor. He shared, “No, I see myself as a star – the way I approach cinema is probably different.”

He added, “I believe I’m a star because I can bring the audience to theatres, engage them, act convincingly, entertain them, and make an impact with the story being told.”

Ace also stars B. S. Avinash and Babloo Prithiveeraj in the pivotal roles.

On the work front, Vijay will next star in Train. He was last seen in Viduthalai Part 2.
