There is no denying that most of the families in India love to watch Kaun Banega Crorepati religiously! The reason for this is quite simple, there is something about the way Amitabh Bachchan plays the part of a perfect host and makes the contestant feel at ease almost instantly.

However, this time the actor was left in surprise over a question by one of the contestants. A government employee named Sandhya arrived on the show and talked to the actor about taxes.

She revealed that she is working with the GST department and she keeps a tab on people who try to illegally save taxes, whereas she also tries to help out people to file their taxes properly. Big B was quite impressed by her profile. However, he was left surprised when she asked him, “Sir aapne GST bhara hai naa?” (Sir, have you paid the GST)

The actor remained silent for a moment and then replied that if he had not paid his taxes, he wouldn’t be sitting here. Big B certainly knows how to come up with the sassiest of the responses.

Sandhya lost the game at the Rs 40,000 question. It was a visual question and it reads,  “On the banks of which river was this fort built by Rani Ahilya Holkar?”

A. Godavari
B. Narmada
C. Tapi
D. Betwa

The correct answer was Narmada but she picked Godavari. During her brief segment on the show, Sandhya spoke about how she always knew that she had to be an example for other girls as her father was often teased about having daughters. She mentioned that she wanted to prove that if men and women have equal rights then they also have an equal duty.

Big B was mighty impressed and shared that it is always a matter of honour to see women moving forward in the world. He also pointed at the audience and shared that the majority of the audience members are women and they all are doing something. The actor’s praise left Sandhya emotional.

These are the sweet moments that truly make Kaun Banega Crorepati Big B’s show. The actor hosted the first season of the show back in 2000. It marked his first appearance on Indian television. Since then he has hosted every season of the show barring season 3, which was hosted by Shah Rukh Khan.
