Social Media Buzz? YesMadam Issues Statement Over Controversial ‘100+ Employees Layed Off’: ‘No One Was Fired’

A social buzz about the layoff of employees by YesMadam gets a full stop as the Company issues a statement regarding the controversy. They mentioned that, “No one was fired at YesMadam.”

 

They further stated “We sincerely apologize for any distress caused by recent social media posts suggesting we dismissed employees for being stressed. Let us be clear: We would never take such an inhuman step. Our team is like family, and their dedication, hard work, and passion are the foundation of all our successes.”

In the statement issued by YesMadam, they apologised for any distress caused by their social media post. They will never take such inhuman steps, mentions the company.

They further mentioned in their post that, “The social media posts were a planned effort to highlight the serious issue of workplace stress. And to those who shared angry comments or voiced strong opinions, we say Thank you. When people speak up, it shows they care and care is at the heart of our business.
Were YesMadam employees really fired for being stressed? Absolutely not. They weren’t sacked; they were urged to rest and recharge.”

The trend the social media saw recently about the layoff comes to an end. The company stated that the employees were not fired. They were asked to rest and recharge.

They also announced a YesMadam’s New Corporate Program ‘Happy 2 Heal’ through their LinkedIn post.

With this buzz which came as a storm on social media, the company made an apology for the same if this caused any kind of distress to people.
