Kal Ho Naa Ho’, the cult classic blockbuster by Dharma Productions, is all set to arrive in theatres again after 21 years. Starring Shah Rukh Khan, Saif Ali Khan, and Preity Zinta in the lead roles, the movie is widely loved by the audience and its re-release is bringing back that nostalgic feel of witnessing it on the big screen.
Kal Ho Naa Ho Re-Release Date:
‘Kal Ho Naa Ho’ will release in theatres on November 15, 2024, at PVR and INOX screens.
Announcing the re-release date, the official Instagram page of Dharma Production wrote, “‘Laal ab sabke dil ka haal hai’, hone wala ab kamaal hai! #KalHoNaaHo re-releasing in cinemas on 15th November at @pvrcinemas_official @inoxmovies!”
Directed by Nikkhil Advani, the movie also stars Jaya Bachchan, Sushma Seth, Reema Lagoo, Lillete Dubey, and Delnaaz Irani in pivotal roles.
In an earlier interview with Galatta Plus, Nikkhil Advani recalled the time when Shah Rukh Khan called ‘Kal Ho Naa Ho’ rubbish and ‘Devdas’ fantastic. He shared, “When we were doing Mohabbatein, or was it Kuch Kuch Hota Hai… I think Mohabbatein, Shah Rukh was shooting for Hey Ram. And Shah Rukh has a habit of coming for a meeting where he says that the film he is making with you is rubbish, you should be seeing the other film. In Kal Ho Naa ho, he said Devdas is fantastic, Kal Ho Naa Ho is rubbish. He has that habit.”
The movie is written by filmmaker Karan Johar and produced by Yash Johar.
