Emerging Asia Cup 2024, Post-Match Report: India A Edges Past Pakistan Shaheens By 7 Runs

In a riveting match, India A outplayed Pakistan Shaheens by 7 runs on Saturday in the match of the ACC Men’s T20 Emerging Teams Asia Cup 2024. Ingesting infectious openers, India chose to bat first and posted a competitive 183/8 for Pakistan.

In the run chase, Pakistan were jittery but did fight back to an extent through their middle order. But Rasikh Salam, in his heroics in the death overs, ensured that India won and restricted Pakistan to 176/7.

One good win, but plenty of scope for improvement for India- largely in the middle overs management with bat. Pakistan, on the other hand, lost both the Powerplay and the Death Over punch of their Pace attack. When it mattered, they could not deny the runs crucial to their cause.

Player Of The Match

Anuj Kamboj won the “Player of the Match” for his brilliant bowling spell of 3/33 in 4 overs.
