The actor further revealed that the film will be “inspired by real incidents of violence and abuse against Indian doctors. It will also bring to light the urgent need for “safety in medical fraternity.” Shekhar Kapur will creatively head the project.
As soon as the news was out, fans flooded the social media and showed their excitement for the project. Taking to the comment section, one of them wrote, “It’s finally time the doctors and even the general victims got some support. Our cinema and drama industries have for long promoted the wrong. This is such a sigh of relief. Hope they genuinely speak power to truth.” Another commented, “Finally someone sharing the other side of the story. Its time people learn about the injustice done to the doctor’s. The pressure they face from the medical management system ruled by the marketing team of the hospital and so on and so forth.”
Meanwhile, there are reports that actor Manisha Koirala’s name is being considered for the lead role. However, nothing has been confirmed yet.
