Tata Motors has launched its first coupe SUV, Tata Curve, in India. The ex-showroom price starts at ₹17.49 lakh. It offers a range of 150 km on just a 15-minute charge. It also has a boot space of 500 liters.
Features Of Tata Curvv
The Tata CURVV EV comes with a large battery pack. The company claims that it offers a range of 150 kilometers on a 15-minute charge, which is a significant advantage. For safety, this SUV includes features such as six airbags, a 360-degree camera, electronic stability control, adaptive cruise control, lane-keeping assist, and forward collision warning, all part of the advanced driver assistance system (ADAS).
Other features may include a dual-tone dashboard, 2-spoke steering wheel, a panoramic sunroof, front ventilated seats, drive mode selector, and an auto gear shifter.
Now, talking about the design, truth be told, there’s very little that differentiates the Curve from the Nexon EV: a shut-off grille, connected LED DRLs, vertical slats in the bumper at the front, alloy wheels, flush door handles.
Competition With Citroen
The Citroen Basalt will be a near-future rival to the Tata Curvv, which comes shortly, starting at about ₹8 lakh. Citroen is promising occupants inside the cabin of the Basalt great comfort.
The Citroen Basalt shall come with a bunch of features that can include wireless connectivity for a smartphone, after all, giving it a premium feel with a push-button start. The base model, in full glory, shall be attired in stylish attire clothed with steel wheels, LED projector Headlights, DRLs, and Fog lamps on the inside in the Basalt. It shall further have a digital instrument cluster along with a distinctive black rear bumper.
