DMK MLA Markandeyan blames BJP for Jayalalitha’s death, says AIIMS didn’t give proper care

A video in which Vlathikulam DMK MLA and former AIADMK executive Markandeyan targets Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) for the death of former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister, Jayalalithaa is going viral on social media.
The commission’s investigation period has been extended several times while the investigation has been going on for about five years. Arumugasamy, the head of the commission’s investigation, submitted the report of the dating committee to Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M. K. Stalin a few weeks ago when the investigation was completed.
In the commission report Jayalalithaa’s close aide Sasikala, former health minister Dr C. Vijayabaskar, the then Chief Secretary Dr Rama Mohana Rao, former Health Department Secretary Radhakrishnan and others have been recommended to order a government inquiry.
In this case, while the Arumugasamy Commission report was tabled in the Tamil Nadu Assembly session, various pieces of information were revealed.
Former TN SM Jayalalitha was admitted to the hospital on September 22, 2016, and died on December 5, 2016, following a ten-week battle for her life. The circumstances surrounding her hospitalisation and death became a topic of public debate by her supporters, and questions were raised in numerous quarters about her demise.
There was pressure on the government to form a Commission of Inquiry to uncover the facts. The government eventually decided to form a Commission of Inquiry under the Commissions of Inquiry Act of 1952.
Obesity, hypertension, poorly managed diabetes, hypothyroidism, irritable bowel syndrome with persistent diarrhoea, and chronic seasonal bronchitis were all present in the late C.M. as per the reports.
