Television star Karan Kundrra has been in the news ever since his stint in Salman Khan’s reality show Bigg Boss 15. While the curtains came down last month, the actor has still been making headlines courtesy of his mushy moments with his girlfriend, television actress Tejasswi Prakash. The duo has been painting the town red with their outings. From stepping out for dinner dates looking adorable to surprising each other, the couple fondly known as TejRan are the talk of the town right now.
Meanwhile, Karan has also been quite active on social media. The actor, who is basking in fame, often interacts with her followers. His fangirls are left swooning every time he shares pictures online. The Kitani Mohabbat Hai actor may have been hogging the limelight currently for the sweet things, however, in 2015, Kundrra had made headlines for a shocking reason.
Karan was busy shooting for his romantic drama series Yeh Kahan Aa Gaye Hum with Saanvi Talwar when rumours of them having an ugly fight on the sets went viral on social media. Reports suggested that Karan had slapped Saanvi during an argument. Later, Saanvi had confirmed the news and alleged that Karan slapped her and abused her during the shoot.
The incident took place due to a scene in the show where Karan had to kiss Saanvi on the lips and the latter was asked to slap him. After the scene, a furious Karan had allegedly lost his cool at her. Opening up about the shocking incident, Saanvi told ETimes, “The incident has left me shaken. I don’t think any woman should be subjected to such atrocious behaviour. What disturbed me more was that no one stopped Karan Kundrra while he slapped and abused me. Others came to pacify me much later. I don’t wish such a thing to happen to anyone and I hope the production house takes appropriate action so that this doesn’t happen again. But the show must go on and I will continue to shoot.”
When the same portal had reached out to Karan for a reaction, he was unavailable at that time. But the same report quoted a source saying as, “Saanvi has grown too fond of Karan but he doesn’t reciprocate. The scene didn’t require her to slap him hard, yet she did. That upset him.”
