The highly-anticipated trailer of SS Rajamouli’s RRR, which was unveiled on Thursday, has grabbed the attention of fans and celebrities alike. The three-minute-long trailer has garnered good responses from both audiences as well as critics.
Elated with the response from all corners, ace filmmaker Rajamouli on Friday thanked all the audience. He tweeted, “No words to express and can’t say anything more for the #RRRTrailer response from all corners…Our entire team is overjoyed with the response.:)”
RRR is a period film featuring Jr NTR and Ram Charan in lead roles. Apart from Jr NTR and Ram Charan, the action period drama also stars Ajay Devgn, Alia Bhatt, Shriya Saran, Olivia Morris, Samuthirakani and Ray Stevenson in key roles.
Telugu celebrities including Mahesh Babu, Samantha Rudh Prabhu, Pooja Hegde, Raashi Khanna and Rakul Preet Singh, took to Twitter to reveal that they were bowled over by the trailer.
Taking to Twitter, Mahesh Babu wrote, “Each and every shot of the trailer is stunning, spectacular and mind blowing!! The master storyteller is back and how! Goosebumps all the way!! #RRRTrailer @ssrajamouli @tarak9999 @AlwaysRamCharan @ajaydevgn @aliaa08 @OliviaMorris891(sic).”
RRR tells a fictional story inspired by Telugu freedom fighters Alluri Sitarama Raju and Komaram Bheem. The film has been cleared by the Censor Board with a U/A certificate. The music of the film has been composed by popular composer MM Keeravani. Cinematography is done by KK Senthil Kumar and Sreekar Prasad is editing part of the project.
