There is no denying that Bollywood actress Aishwarya Rai is one of the most stunning leading ladies in the industry. While she has constantly impressed one and all with grace, she has managed to keep it authentic too. Back in 2011, when her daughter Aaradhya Bachchan was born, Aishwarya was body-slammed by online trolls.

Subsequently, her appearance at the Cannes film festival too led to body shaming and trolling. However, through it all, she kept her head high and didn’t let the negativity pull her down. Later, in many interviews, she addressed the issue and spoke about how she fought the same.

In an interview with film critic Rajeev Masand, she opened up about her motherhood journey and body shaming. She said, “It’s not just been post motherhood. Contextually, post motherhood, you are referring to specifically body shaming. Because you are looking at it from that aspect of the body frame changing. I am talking about the reason I was able to handle it because I have faced judgement for so long.”
