20 years ago on this date, Dil Chahta Hai featuring Aamir Khan, Akshaye Khanna, and Saif Ali Khan was released. The film directed by Farhan Akhtar needs no introduction. To mark 2 decades of his iconic film’s release, Farhan announced his new project, Jee Le Zaraa. The actor, who was last seen in Toofan as a boxer, has donned the director’s hat for the movie, which will revolve around the three women on a road trip. For this movie, Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Katrina Kaif, and Alia Bhatt have come on board.

And this casting just seems so perfect. Nobody could have asked for three beautiful and talented actresses like them. Farah made an official announcement of Jee Le Zaraa on Instagram and wrote, “Did someone say road trip? Thrilled to announce my next film as director and what better day than 20 years of Dil Chahta Hai to do it. #JeeLeZaraa with @priyankachopra @katrinakaif @aliaabhatt will commence filming in 2022 and I cannot wait to get this show on the road.”

Once the announcement was made, netizens started trolling Ranbir Kapoor on Twitter. It is because RK is currently dating Alia and he was earlier in a relationship with Katrina Kaif.
