Rhea Chakraborty and Sushant Singh Rajput were rumoured to be dating but they chose to maintain their silence on the matter. Despite being snapped on various occasions and outside movie theatres, Sushant and Rhea had moved in together and were apparently planning to star in a film together. But fate had other plans.
Sushant passed away at 34 at his Bandra apartment. It was initially rumoured that the actor was suffering from depression and hung himself, but the investigation of his death has been transferred to three national agencies – Central Bureau of Investigation, Enforcement Directorate and Narcotics Control Bureau.
After a few months of investigation, Rhea was arrested by the NCB along with her brother Showik who are now out on bail. On the occasion of his first death anniversary, Rhea took to Instagram to pen a heart-breaking note followed with a throwback picture of the two of them from happier times.
Marking Sushant’s one year death anniversary, Rhea wrote, “
On the work front, Rhea will next be seen in Amitabh Bachchan and Emraan Hashmi starrer Chehree. Sushant’s last film Dil Bechara was released post his demise and was declared as a hit.
