Sulthan fame Karthi gets his first dose of COVD vaccine; fans say ‘Take care Anna’

Actor Karthi has got his first dose of COVID-19 vaccine at a hospital in Chennai. The actor shared a picture on his Twitter page, informing fans about his vaccination.

The second wave of the coronavirus has hit the country so badly. Many have lost their loved ones. Experts suggest that getting vaccinated is the best way to avoid death, and as per the norms, people are getting vaccinated throughout the country. 

Many celebrities from Kollywood got themselves vaccinated, and the latest one to get vaccinated is actor Karthi. He shared a picture from the hospital and wrote, “ Took my first dose of vaccine. #CovidVaccine.”

Actor Karthi also conducted a live session in collaboration with a doctor from the Chennai Rajiv Gandhi hospital. In that virtual interview, Karthi asked a few doubts regarding the second wave, what precautions we need to take, why is that few scans are mandatory, how to eliminate certain rumors regarding the virus and a lot more questions. Karthi also asked his doubts regarding the vaccination during that interview. And all this was published online by the Greater Chennai Corporation. 

Before all this, actor Karthi along with Suriya and his father Sivakumar met the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu and contributed rupees 1 crore to Chief Minister Relief funds

As per the reports in a top News website, Actor Suriya and Karthi have jointly helped their fans who are affected during these tough times. They have donated around Rs.5000 each to the families of the members of their fan club. It seems Karthi has donated Rs.5000 for around 200 families in his fan club who are affected due to COVID. 

Many celebrities got vaccinated recently, and now, actor Karthi also joins the list of Tamil celebrities that includes Janani Iyer, Vaani Bhojan, Keerthy Suresh, Vani Bhojan, Raiza Wilson, Parvati Nair, AR Rahman, Aishwarya Rajesh, Nayanthara, Vignesh Shivan, Soori, and Nakkhul.

On the work front, actor Karthi was seen last in Sulthan. The actor is currently involved in director PS Mithran’s Sardar, the film also has actress Raashi Khanna and Rajisha Vijayan in the lead.

Apart from this film, it is also to be noted that Karthi is a part of Maniratnam’s magnum opus Ponniyin Selvan. Ponniyin Selvan has an ensemble cast that features actors like  Vikram, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Jayam Ravi, Trisha, and Jayaram in prominent roles.
