Over decades of his career in the showbiz, the actor has been purely known for his impeccable acting skills and putting life to just any character he plays.

Even if you are not a follower of the actor, one would know how every character he plays becomes iconic in its own way. The actor has always expriemented with a unique character role and his skill set in managing to ace every character makes us wonder if it is the same person, afterall!

Among many of his most-loved films is the comedy-drama Hera Pheri. On his 66th birthday today, fans took to Twitter to share their birthday wishes in the most unique way. A few creative heads resorted to the ever-so-loved memes, from the same film.

The 2000 film starred Paresh Rawal with Suniel Shetty and Akshay Kumar, and the film went on to become a cult hit. Even after 21 years, the film manages to crack people up, and several scenes are helmed relatable. Paresh’s character of Maruti Rao Ganpat Rao Apte aka Babu Bhaiya managed to win the hearts of all and continues to be loved.

In a recent interview, the film’s director Priyadarshan opened up on the iconic role. He mentioned having only Utpal Dutt in mind when he thought of it, but unfortunately, he had passed away. A part of an ETimes interview read, “I called him (Paresh) the next day and narrated the story to him. As soon as I did, he was on board. He told me that he doesn’t care for even a penny because he has already got the character in his mind. Paresh actually played the role better than what I had imagined.”
