S S Rajamouli intends to make the high-profile lead pair of his underproduction jungle adventure (no, it is not titled Varanasi) dance like never before.

According to a source close to the project, Rajamouli will shoot a song and dance sequence next month (November) at an estimated cost of Rs 2.5 crores, featuring Mahesh Babu and Priyanka Chopra Jonas.

The number, to be choreographed by Raju Sundaram, will project a unique fusion of modern and folk steps.

“Neither Priyanka nor Mahesh have attempted these kinds of steps before. The rehearsals are on. Mahesh and Priyanka have taken the steps home to practice individually. They will soon meet up to rehearse together,” informs a source close to the project.
