Good news to Ajay Devgn fans! The actor released two new posters of his upcoming movie Son of Sardaar 2. This will be the first time that he is seen with actress Mrunal Thakur. The film will release in cinemas on July 25, and it will compete with Param Sundari starring Janhvi Kapoor and Sidharth Malhotra.
Ajay Devgn shared the posters on his Instagram with the following caption, “He survived Punjab…Will he survive Scotland? #SonOfSardaar2 in cinemas this 25th July. #SardaarIsBack #SOS2.”
Shortly after fans had begun to respond excitedly. One of the fans said, “Can’t wait to watch.” Another commented, “I can’t stop laughing when I see your facial expression.” Heart emojis were dropped in the comments by many as well.
Previously, another poster that Ajay had posted shows him wearing a turban and he posted, “The Return of the Sardaar #SOS2 in cinemas near you on 25th July. #SardaarIsBack #SonOfSardaar2″
He also tagged co-star @mrunalthakur, along with @officialjiostudios @devgnfilms @tseries.official.
It is the sequel supported by Jio Studio, Devgn Films, and T-sereis. It assures enjoyment as it will be a blend of actions and dramas with comedies. The first one, the Son of Sardaar that came out in the year 2012, featured Ajay Devgn and Sanjay Dutt, with Sonakshi Sinha. In Son of Sardaar 2, Sanjay Dutt will reprise his role as Don and Sanjay Mishra will reprise what was previously an ignored Vijay Raaz part, which portrayed Ravi Kishan in the original.
Vijay Kumar Arora is the director of this new part. Mrunal Thakur as well had made a post of a clap board a week ago with a caption saying, “SCENE 49 SHOT 5 TAKE 1 ACTION!”
The same day also marks the release of Param Sundari, which is directed by Tushar Jalota and produced by Dinesh Vijan of Maddock Films. It is described as a North-South love story with Janhvi Kapoor and Sidharth Malhotra in the lead.
