Other companies in the list which have received notices include YouBuy India, Etsy, The Flag Company and The Flag Corporation and have been told by the CCPA not to sell Pakistani flags and related items.

Consumer Affairs Minister Pralhad Joshi posted on social media. He warned that such insensitivity would not be tolerated. The e-commerce platforms have been required to remove all such content immediately and amongst other things to act in accordance with the national laws. This will mean that the government will not allow the sale of such products. The government should expect the e-commerce companies to take out such products at once and comply with the law of the country.
