Superstar Rajinikanth recently surprised his fans as he was traveling in economy class with Indigo. People started waving at him and screaming Thalaiva’ to grab his attention. In the video, the superstar was seen boarding the flight. He later waved at them after seeing people’s reaction. The video quickly went viral and fans flooded the comment box praising Rajinikanth for his humble and down-to-earth nature.
A fan recorded a video and posted it on X (formerly Twitter). he wrote, “THATS RIGHT. I GOT தலைவர் தரிசனம்!!!!!!!! (Thalaivar’s darshan) Crying. Shivering. Heart beating peakeddddddd.”
One X user commented, “There’s genuine glee on his face too, what a man.” Others wrote, “This is a video for the ages!” “Most heart-warming smile.” Some fans admired that he was travelling economy, whereas others fell for his smile.” People could not stop talking about the superstar’s humility and how he never fails to impress his fans.
However, it is not the first occasion Rajinikanth has left his fans amazed. Last year, in March, he traveled to Kadapa, Andhra Pradesh, in economy class, where he did not even care to hide his face, leaving the person surprised and feeling lucky sitting next to him. He even had a conversation with the crew before taking off.
On the work front, Rajinikanth will be seen in Lokesh Kanagaraj’s Coolie which is set to release on 14 August 2025. His recent films include: Jailer (2023), Annaatthe (2021) and Kaala (2018).
He is married to the Indian film producer and playback singer Latha Rajinikanth and with her, he has two children, Aishwarya Rajinikanth and Soundarya Rajinikanth.
