Ram Charan has unveiled the first shot of his upcoming movie ‘Peddi’, which has created hype among the audience. Earlier, the teaser was released in Telugu, but the Hindi-dubbed teaser, named ‘Peddi: First Shot’, was recently dropped online. The movie will be a sports drama that is set in the 1980s.

Ram Charan, on his social media, posted the first teaser of the film Peddi. He thanked his audience for loving the Telugu Teaser and wrote, “Our entire team is super kicked with your response for the PeddiFirstShot. Thank you. Hindi glimpse out now! PEDDI IN CINEMAS ON 27th MARCH, 2026.”
In the clip, Ram Charan is shown ruggedly as he enters a cricket ground with a bat in his hand. In the background, he says, “Ek hi kaam karne ko, ek hi tareeke se jeene ko, aakhir itna bada zindagi kyon? Jo bhi karna hai, isi dharti pe karna hai. Dobara thodi paida honge?” At the end of the video, Ram is shown shaking his bat and hitting a great shot, which led viewers to reveal the release date of the film on the screen, which is 27 March, 2026.

Peddi is a sports action-drama film that is set in the 1980s rural Andhra Pradesh, where a brave villager brings its community together through sports to protect it from the enemy. This movie is written and directed by Buchi Babu Sana, along with the casting of Jahnvi Kapoor and Shivraj Kumar. AR Rahman has composed the music for this film, which was produced by Venkata Satish Kilaru under Vriddhi Cinemas.

Ram Charan was last seen in the movie, Game Changer, which did not perform well in theaters. Reportedly, Rs. 450 crores were spent on its budget, but it only earned Rs. 186.25 crore globally. Peddi marks Ram Charan’s 16th film.
Peddi is Janhvi Kapoor’s second Telugu movie. Before, she acted in Devara: Part 1, where she captured the heart of the audience and the movie became a hit.
