Rapper Kanye West, one of the most controversial yet influential artists in the music world is said to be seeking a new beginning beyond the United States. According to a report by  The US Sun, Kanye is set to move to Europe after facing continuous criticism and backless due to his controversies.

Why Is Kanye West Considering Europe?

A source revealed The US Sun, Kanye is said to feel that his career and life in the U.S. are being greatly limited as a result of the many controversies that he has been entangled in. The source added that Kanye perceives that his current and future life in North America are being “limited in many ways,” prompting him to seek opportunities abroad.

The rapper, who is known for his bold and uncensored comments, reportedly views Europe as a region where he can not only reestablish his public image but also expand his business ventures. He feels that the continent gives him the freedom to be himself and an audience that will love his work without the constant criticism he experiences in the U.S.

According to sources, the rapper is pursuing a European visa and is even considering applying for Italian citizenship through his wife, Bianca Censori, who has family roots in the nation. West is also said to be  considering business or entrepreneur visas in Latvia, Romania and Slovakia, with the aim of gaining a presence in the European market. This action might not only give him a new beginning but also pave the way for his future business deals on the continent.
