India Clinches Champions Trophy 2025 With Thrilling Victory

Team India won by four wickets under the captaincy of Rohit Sharma when they defended the 252-run target at the Dubai International Stadium against New Zealand. The early bowling dismissals of Rohit Sharma and Shubman Gill did not derail the team as the middle-order players managed to maintain India’s progress towards winning. Ravindra Jadeja brought finality to the match by delivering the winning plays which earned India its third Champions Trophy trophy. India once shared the Championship with Sri Lanka under Sourav Ganguly in 2002 and later won it again under MS Dhoni in 2013.

PM Modi Hails Team India’s Exceptional Performance

India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed his heartfelt appreciation to the team for their overwhelming performance in the tournament by extending his congratulations after their victory. Through X social media platform he shared his feelings of pride regarding their championship win. “An exceptional game and an exceptional result! The team deserves congratulations for their wonderful all-encompassing performance according to PM Modi’s statement.
