Last year, she was diagnosed with stage three breast cancer and has been sharing updates about her recovery with fans on social media. Hina believes that her strength in dealing with her cancer diagnosis comes from her resilient character and her deep sense of duty. She said, “I’m a very strong person. I’ve to pat myself on the back for this. I’m also very responsible. I’ve been like this throughout the ups and downs in my life, including the time when my dad passed away.”
In an interview with News18, Hina Khan expressed how vital her family has been during both the good times and the challenging moments in her life. While sharing, she highlighted their support as the most significant aspect of her journey. “But at the same time, I think my family and loved ones play a very important part.” Her partner, Rocky Jaiswal, and his family are a major source of support for her, and she often feels emotional when she talks about them.

She expressed gratitude for the pivotal role he played in helping her through that challenging time. “I get the strength from the people – my partner Rocky, my mother, my brother, my cousins and Rocky’s family – around me. I’ve so much love around me. Touch wood! Alhamdulillah, nazar na lage. That love keeps me going. It has really, really helped me reach where I’m today.”
Hina and Rocky’s relationship started when they first met while working on her first television show, and they have remained a couple ever since. Throughout Hina’s battle with cancer, Rocky has always been there for her, providing unwavering support. Hina frequently shares how thankful she is to have him by her side during this challenging time.
She recently posted a photo of the two of them enjoying a vacation in the Maldives, where she shared her thoughts and experiences from the trip. She posted with the caption, “Through thick and thin. We will get through this… Yes, we will… InshaAllah.”

Hina is excited about her upcoming series, Griha Laxmi, which was postponed because of her health issues. Now, she feels that the timing of its release aligns well with her journey toward recovery.
Speaking about her upcoming series, she said, “It was supposed to release a while back in October last year but they couldn’t because of my health. Kehta hai na ki upar waala sab kuch plan karke rakhte hain. None of this was planned. We weren’t waiting to start the promotions of Griha Laxmi and release it after my diagnosis. But now that this is happening, people are relating my character to my real-life personality even more.”
