24-Year-Old Woman In Mumbai Arrested For Threatening UP CM Yogi Adityanath

Mumbai Police have arrested 24-year-old Fatima Khan following a threat message against Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. Sent from a WhatsApp number traced to Khan, the message warned that Adityanath would be “killed like Baba Siddique” if he did not resign within 10 days. Following a swift investigation, police tracked down and detained Khan, who lives with her family in Thane. Sources revealed that Khan is highly educated, holding a BSc degree in Information Technology, and has reportedly been dealing with mental health issues. Her father runs a timber business.

Background of the Threat to Adityanath

The Mumbai Traffic Police control room received the message through a helpline number, creating immediate concern given the recent wave of similar death threats in the city. This incident marks the latest in a string of threats in Mumbai, where police have been handling multiple cases involving high-profile figures.

Recent Threats Against Salman Khan and Connections to Lawrence Bishnoi Gang

Mumbai Police have also faced recent threats against Bollywood actor Salman Khan, demanding ransom and warning of consequences. This uptick in threats comes after a firing outside Khan’s home earlier this year, which led to increased security around the actor. Police investigations pointed to connections with the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, which has taken responsibility for the murder of former Maharashtra minister Baba Siddique, who was close to Khan.

Baba Siddique’s Murder and Gang Threats in Mumbai

Baba Siddique, father of Bandra MLA Zeeshan Siddique, was shot dead near his son’s office on October 12. The Bishnoi gang, known for high-profile crimes, claimed responsibility, further intensifying the ongoing security situation around both Adityanath and Khan. The gang has a history of threatening Salman Khan, reportedly over his past involvement in a blackbuck poaching case.

Ongoing Investigations and Heightened Security

With Fatima Khan now in custody, police continue to probe the motive behind the threat to Adityanath and any potential links to organized crime groups. Meanwhile, Mumbai Police remain vigilant, ensuring enhanced security for public figures under threat as investigations expand into these interconnected cases.
