During the COVID-19 lockdown, Aussie opener David Warner created quite a stir on social media platforms with his sensational Tik Tok videos, which went viral instantly. His young family indulged in various household chores and took out spare time to entertain viewers with their quirky videos, mostly dancing to popular Hindi film tracks.
While the swashbuckling left-hander is currently busy in the ongoing IPL 2020 edition, where he is leading the charge of the 2016 champions Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH), Warner on Friday (October 09) announced that he has launched his own YouTube channel. To this, he got reactions from all corners including former Indian all-rounder and his ex-SRH colleague, Yuvraj Singh.
Here’s how Warner shared the new development with his followers on Twitter. He wrote, “Hey everyone- I’ve just launched my new YouTube channel. The first ep Bull’s Day Care is up now so, hit the link in my bio to watch, and don’t forget to subscribe and follow along each week. #youtube”
Yuvraj, who is very active on social media platforms and is known to tease everyone hilariously, reacted to the same and replied, “I really hope your dancing videos are in there.”
The two share a good bond off the field after their stint in the SRH camp during the Hyderabad-based franchise’s title run in the 2016 IPL edition, under Warner. At present, Warner & Co. need to remain consistent to move ahead in the ongoing IPL tournament in the UAE. On Thursday (October 08), the SRH camp locked horns with KL Rahul-led KXIP in Dubai.
Batting first, Warner & Co. hammered a mammoth 201 for 6 riding on Jonny Bairstow’s 97 and Warner’s 40-ball 52. In reply, Rashid Khan starred with his 4-0-12-3 as the Hyderabad franchise got the better of KXIP by a whopping 69-run margin to take the third spot in the points table.
