Alia and Ranbir tied the knot on April 14 at RK’s residence Vastu amid the presence of friends and family. Alia blessed her 63 million followers with stunning pictures from the wedding ceremony.
Adding a cherry on the top, Neetu also shared a beautiful picture with her son Ranbir, remembering her late husband and actor Rishi Kapoor. Yes, you read that right. Sharing a photo from the wedding ceremony, Neetu wrote, “This is dedicated to Kapoor Saab your wish has been fulfilled.”
The bride and the groom
Let’s decode the traditional look of one of the most stunning couples. Alia opted for a white organza saree, heavy traditional jewellery, and a headband. She completed her look with minimal makeup and flaunted her dewy skin. Ranbir on the other hand looked dapper in a white sherwani.
The ceremony
Ranbir and Alia tied the knot in an intimate ceremony. The security for the wedding was super tight and no pictures and videos surfaced until the bride shared the pics on her Instagram. Ranbir kneeled in front of Alia during the varmala ceremony making her go pink, which was one of the cutest moment ever. Alia and Ranbir married after dating for five years. Neetu had recently called her daughter-in-law Alia Bhatt “best” in front of the media.
How they started dating
The couple began their fairytale romance on the sets of Brahmastra. They dated for almost five years before sealing the deal. Alia had mentioned earlier in an interview that she is already married to RK in her head. Well, now she is actually married to him and we cannot stop gushing over the couple.
On the work front
The duo will be seen in Brahmastra which also marks their debut as an on-screen couple. Alia will be seen in Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani, Darlings, Je le Zaraa, and a few more films. Ranbir, on the other hand will star in Shamshera and an untitled next with Shraddha Kapoor.
