World’s perception of India completely changed after pandemic era: Rajeev Chandrasekhar

Union Minister of State for Electronics & Information Technology and Skill Development Rajeev Chandrasekhar said that India is at an inflection point when it comes to development and growth trajectory and the current generation is the luckiest and most fortunate when it comes to opportunities to excel.
“India is the fifth largest economy in the world and in a few years, we will be the third largest economy in the world and without any ambiguity. I state this with all credibility and sincerity. This generation of young students is the most fortunate with the largest opportunities to excel. Not just in Kochi, or nationally but across the world. This is a reality and please make a note of this”, said Rajeev Chandrasekhar. He was speaking at the launching ceremony of the autography of renowned academician E Balagurusamy named ‘Professor Balagurusamy’ at St Teresa’s College in Ernakulam.
Rajeev Chandrasekhar said that during the Covid-19 pandemic when every country faced a huge loss of business, India has strived to become the fastest-growing economy in the world. India delivered two hundred and ten crore vaccination and is coming up with the fastest-growing start-up and innovation ecosystem in the world.
“Now look at the situation of the so-called economic superpowers. The United States have historic high inflation, a very low vaccination rate. So is the situation of the United Kingdom whose inflation is also at an all-time high. Look at China who considers itself a superpower. They are now in the sixth round of lockdowns and again facing a major economic slowdown”, the minister added.
The minister added that the world’s perception of India has completely changed post the Covid-19 pandemic era.
