At a mere 13 years of age, Rhythm Mamania has made history as the youngest girl to win a gold medal at the 20th Asian Roller Skating Championship in Jecheon, South Korea. Her spectacular performance in the Solo Free Dance event not only won her the gold medal on the top podium position but also highlighted the emerging dominance of Indian sportspersons in artistic roller skating.

This win is merely another sparkling gem on a crown already adorned. A six-time national champion and over 50-time national medalist, Rhythm has tasted success at an international level as well, claiming gold at the 2025 Taiwan Championship. Her success, however, started much earlier at five years of age, she amazed spectators by driving under 25 stationary cars in a single attempt, a record that foreshadowed the incredible career ahead.

Her accomplishments are not limited to skating itself. She has become the youngest Indian to climb up to the Everest Base Camp in 2021, demonstrating that her spirit is limitless. Her guiding principle throughout has been a simple yet potent one: “India First, Self Later.”
