One of the most controversial actors in Bollywood, Sanjay Dutt, has also had his share of ups and downs after arriving on Karan Johar’s Koffee With Karan. Did you know that the actor once spoke about Kangana Ranaut in a KWK episode? It was at a time when Sanjay Dutt and Kangana were at loggerheads and referring to their feud, KJo asked Dutt a question about the Queen actress.
In a throwback episode, Karan Johar asked Sanjay Dutt, “If you woke up one morning as Kangana, what would you do?” He replied by saying, “Wear salwar kameez.” Whether the comment was in bad taste or not, the remark did grab a lot of attention.
Sanjay Dutt and Kangana have worked together in films like Ungli and Knock Out. In November 2020, Sanjay Dutt had shared a photo with the Manikarnika actress after meeting her. He took to Twitter and wrote, “It was nice meeting you. Thank you for all your love and good wishes. Stay blessed.”
This came after Kangana wished the Prassthanam star long life and good health when he was diagnosed with Stage 4 lung cancer. Sanjay Dutt soon recovered and resumed shooting his upcoming film KGF: Chapter 2 co-starring Yash and Raveena Tandon, in which he is playing the antagonist Adheera.
On the work front, besides the Kannada film KGF 2, Sanjay Dutt will feature in Shamshera alongside Ranbir Kapoor and Vaani Kapoor. He will also star in Akshay Kumar’s Prithviraj, which is being directed by Chandraprakash Dwivedi. Sonu Sood, Manushi Chhillar and Ashutosh Rana have pivotal roles in the film.
Kangana, on the other hand, will be seen in Dhaakad. Later, she has Tejas in the pipeline, in which she is playing the role of an air force pilot. Kangana will produce her maiden film under her production company Manikarnika Films. Titled Tiku Weds Sheru, the movie stars Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Avneet Kaur.
