If there’s one couple who has painted the town red with their romance, then it has to be Malaika Arora and Arjun Kapoor. The duo might have made their relationship official only months after they started dating, but since then, there’s been no looking back for the two. From being photographed at each other’s house every now and then to partying with each other’s friends, Malaika and Arjun have certainly found their comfort zones in each other and how.
The duo, however, rarely talks about their relationship. Once, in an interview back in 2019, Malaika had expressed how it felt dating Arjun. The diva had called it “amazing” and explained that after her marriage with Arbaaz Khan ended, she wasn’t sure if she wanted to be in another relationship. She was scared of being heartbroken then, but deep in her heart, she also wanted to be in love. Things, however, turned lovely for Malaika and Arjun, and the duo is now stronger than ever.
In the same interview, Malaika was also asked if her age difference with Arjun makes the relationship different. To which, the diva had explained that their age difference of 11 years really doesn’t pop up when one is in a relationship. Not mincing her words, Malaika had then called out the hypocrisy of the society about how an older man dating a younger girl is hailed, but there’s name-calling if a woman is older than her partner.
“It is about two minds and hearts connecting. Unfortunately, we live in a society that refuses to progress with time. An older man romancing a younger girl is hailed everywhere, but when the woman is older, she’s called ‘desperate’ and a ‘buddhi’. For people who think like this, I have just one line: Take a flying f***,” she was quoted saying in HT Brunch.
Often, rumours about Malaika and Arjun’s marriage surface online. But the duo hasn’t yet confirmed any rumours pertaining to taking their relationship to the next level. On Friday, Malaika was photographed at Arjun’s residence, and it seemed like the birthday bash started a day early! The diva looked fit and fab in a drop-dead gorgeous white dress as she got papped a day ahead of her birthday. While fans await photos of Malaika’s birthday celebrations, they also expect a lovely post from her beau.
