The Bharat Jodo Yatra of Congress, the 108th day of the roadshow, has entered the capital city of the country, New Delhi, where he addressed his supporters and took a jibe at the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and its ideological parent organisation, the Rashtriya Swayamsewak Sangh (RSS).
“Some people are spreading hatred but the common man of the country is now talking about love. In every state, lakhs have joined the (Bharat Jodo) yatra. I’ve told people of RSS-BJP that we’re here to open the shop of love in your ‘bazar’ of hatred,” Gandhi said while addressing his supporters in Delhi
Rahul Gandhi‘s Bharat Jodo Yatra entered Delhi from the Badarpur border at around 6:30 am on Saturday morning. Bharat Jodo Yatra will reach Ashram Chowk at around 10:30 am. After this, the yatra will reach Red Fort at 4.30 pm, where Gandhi is also expected to address his supporters.
The Delhi Congress has instructed its party workers and leaders participating in the Bharat Jodo Yatra to come wearing masks.
A large number of pedestrians and vehicles are expected to participate in this visit of Rahul Gandhi. In view of the crowd in Bharat Jodo Yatra, the traffic police of the capital city have also issued an advisory for the people.
People participating in Bharat Jodo Yatra will have lunch and rest at a lodge near Ashram Chowk in the afternoon. After this, the yatra will reach Red Fort via Nizamuddin, India Gate Circle, ITO, Delhi Cantt, Daryaganj.
Along with Congress MP Rahul Gandhi, many leaders of the party will pay tribute by reaching Rajghat, Veer Bhoomi and Shakti Sthal and Shanti Van.
