Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty is going through a rough patch in her personal life. In July 2021, Shilpa’s husband and businessman Raj Kundra was arrested by the Mumbai police for allegedly creating and publishing pornographic content and putting it up on his website HotShot. The businessman is still under police custody and the investigation is in the process. Amid all this, Shilpa’s sister and actress Shamita Shetty entered the Bigg Boss OTT house and has emerged as a strong contender for the game show.
This is not the first time that Shamita has entered the Bigg Boss house. Earlier, the actress was a part of Bigg Boss 3 but had to leave the show mid-way due to Shilpa’s wedding with Raj. And now, with Bigg Boss OTT, Shamita is giving the show another chance. From outside the house, Shilpa has been cheering for her sister.
In the last episode of Bigg Boss OTT, Shamita’s mother Sunanda Shetty entered the house to cheer and motivate her daughter. During the same, Shamita asked her mother about Shilpa and she replied by saying, “Shilpa is good, everyone is ok. She misses you a lot and we all are proud of you. She gets her daily updates from me when she is busy with her life. Just be happy and be who you are. Your instincts are so good. We missed a lot and I am not crying. You have to be stronger. I’ve seen you as a simple girl in the house, there was no airs about you. I am strong, you are strong and we have three strong women in our house.”
A few days after the arrest of Raj Kundra, Shilpa’s comeback film Hungama 2 was released and Shamita took to social media and urged everyone to watch the film. In her social media note, Shamita also talked about how her sister Shilpa has seen so many ups and downs in her life and faced them with a strong front.
Sharing the poster, Shamita has written, “All d best my darling Munki for the release of ur film Hungama after 14 years I know Uve put in a lot of effort into this one.. the entire team has !.. love you and with you ALWAYS Uve gone through a lot of ups n downs in life and one thing I know for sure ..
