Aam Aadmi Party chief Arvind Kejriwal has cited an ‘Information Bureau report’ to claim that his party was set to form the government in Gujarat later this year. The Delhi CM said that the party would win nearly a hundred seats and called for the number to be boosted to 150. He also accused the BJP and Congress of colluding to keep the AAP out of power.
“BJP is furious…ever since IB report indicated that AAP government will be formed (in Gujarat). They are holding a BJP-Congress secret meeting to ensure that that whatever you do, AAP government should not come. Congress is getting less than 10 seats. Don’t vote for them. They will go to BJP after the elections,” Kejriwal asserted during a public address in the poll-bound state.
“We are getting 94-95 seats. Will have to work hard for 50 more days. One more push will have to be made. We should have 150 seats,’ he urged.
The AAP national convenor said that the ruling party was holding secret meetings with the Congress and making efforts to split anti-BJP votes.
