The first two months of 2023 were nothing short of fantastic for the Telugu film industry with movies like Veera Simha Reddy, Waltair Veerayya and SIR receiving critical praise as well as commercial success. With March right around the corner, here’s a look at all the Tollywood movies set to release in the upcoming month.
Balagam – March 3
Set to release in the first week of March, Balagam features Priyadarshi and Kavya Kalyanram in lead roles. Revolving around the life of residents of a Telangana village, the drama has been helmed by filmmaker Venu Yeldandi.
CSI Sanatan – March 10
Directed by Sivashankar Dev, CSI Sanatan stars Koushik Mahata, Aadi and Nandina Rai. Following the story of a daring investigator whose life turns upside down during a case, the crime thriller is scheduled to hit the big screens on March 10.
Dubbed as an action entertainer movie, Gandeevadhari Arjuna has been directed by Praveen Sattaru with Varun Teja in the lead role. While not much is known about the film, it is reportedly slated for release on March 13.
Kabzaa – March 17
Set between 1942 to 1947, Kabzaa is an action drama film with Upendra, Sudeep and Shriya Saran in lead roles. Written and directed by R Chandru, Kabzaa is scheduled to open on March 17 in cinemas
Bedurulanka 2012 – March 22
Helmed by Clax, Bedurulanka 2012 features Neha Shetty, Kartikeya Gummakonda, and Ajay Ghosh. Based on the rumoured ‘End of the World in 2012’ concept, it is reportedly scheduled to release on March 22.
Das Ka Dhamki – March 22
Featuring Vishwak Sen in a dual role, Das Ka Dhamki is an action movie that also stars Nivetha Pethuraj and Rao Ramesh in pivotal roles. Set to premiere in cinemas on March 22, the film has been directed by Vishwak Sen himself.
Dasara – March 30
Among the most anticipated movies of March, Nani and Keerthy Suresh starrer Dasara has been creating a lot of buzz online. Written and directed by Srikanth Odhela, the film is based on the events that transpired in Singareni coal mines near Telangana’s Godavarikhani. It will be released on March 30.
