Toxic: British actor Darrell D’Silva, widely recognised for his roles in Wrath of Man (2021), Informer (2018), and Van der Valk, has sparked excitement among fans with his involvement in the highly anticipated Yash starrer magnum opus Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-ups. Though not much is known about the much-awaited project, D’Silva gave fans a hint about it.

A fan recently shared an AI-generated teaser on X, which showcased D’Silva’s gangster persona. The video soon went viral and caught the actor’s attention. Reacting to the teaser, D’Silva fueled the anticipation by tweeting, “Nah… It’s going to be WAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYY better than that,” suggesting that the actual film will surpass the already captivating fan-made preview.

The 3D teaser, featuring the film’s stellar cast, struck a chord with netizens for its impressive visuals and dark, atmospheric tone.

About Toxic: A Fairy Take For Grown-ups

Toxic: A Fairy Tale For Grown-ups is shaping up to be a massive cinematic spectacle. The filmmakers have constructed an expansive, meticulously detailed set spanning 20 acres on the outskirts of Bengaluru, authentically recreating the 1940s-70’s era.

To bring this ambitious vision to life, over 1,000 crew members are working on the production. Additionally, 450 actors and 300 foreign support actors have been brought in for key sequences, adding to the film’s grand scale.

Directed by Geetu Mohandas and jointly produced by KVN Productions and Monster Mind Creations, Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups boasts the film’s star-studded cast led by Kiara Advani, Nayanthara, Tara Sutaria, and Huma Qureshi.
