The Fantastic Four First Steps Box Office Collection Day 2: Pedro Pascal-Vanessa Kirby Starrer Underwhelms In India, Gains Momentum Globally

‘The Fantastic Four: First Steps’, the most-awaited Marvel movie of 2025, has finally hit the theatres worldwide. The movie has been receiving an amazing response from the audiences, which is a big relief for Marvel Studios, as many past projects were underwhelming.

However, it opened to a lukewarm start at the Indian box office. It earned much less than expected on its first day, mainly because of fewer screens, tough competition from other movies still running, and people feeling a bit tired of superhero films.

The Fantastic Four: First Steps Box Office Collection India Day 2:

At the India box office, The Fantastic Four: First Steps had a modest start. It earned approximately Rs 5.25 crore on its opening day, followed by a slight rise on day two with collections around Rs 7.35 crore. This brings the film’s two day net total to Rs 12.60 crore, reflecting a performance below pre-release expectations.

With just Rs 12.60 crore net in two days, The Fantastic Four: First Steps is headed towards a Rs 20 crore weekend and a projected lifetime haul of around Rs 40 crore, at best. The situation isn’t expected to improve, with upcoming Bollywood movies like Dhadak 2 and Son of Sardaar 2 poised to eat into its screen space from week 3.

The Fantastic Four: First Steps Box Office Collection Worldwide Day 2:

Internationally, the film has had a great start, making $49.2 million from overseas markets. This takes its total earnings worldwide to $106.2 million.

In North America, the film topped the box office on Friday with around $57 million, doing better than expected and aiming for a strong opening weekend of $120–$125 million, the best for the franchise so far. First Steps now has the second-biggest opening day of 2025 in the U.S., just behind Minecraft: The Movie, which made $57.1 million.

It also made $24.4 million from Thursday night previews alone, the highest of the year so far, beating DC’s Superman preview earnings of $22.5 million.

About The Film:

The Fantastic Four: First Steps is set in 1960 on Earth-828. The movie stars Pedro Pascal, Vanessa Kirby, Ebon Moss-Bachrach, and Joseph Quinn in the lead roles. Julia Garner, Sarah Niles, Mark Gatiss, Natasha Lyonne, Paul Walter Hauser, and Ralph Ineson are seen in pivotal roles.
