The Alchemist author Paulo Coelho sings HIGH praise for Shah Rukh Khan after Pathaan success: King. Legend. Friend

Celebrated Brazilian author Paulo Coelho, known for books like The Alchemist, Eleven Minutes and The Witch of Portobello has sang high praise for Bollywood megastar Shah Rukh Khan. Coelho took to Twitter to share a clip of the celebrated actor and called him a legend, among other things.
Paulo Coelho lauds Shah Rukh Khan
Paulo Coelho took to Twitter to re-post a video by King Khan. SRK had, on January 20, five days after the release of Pathaan had shared a video of greeting fans outside his house. He captioned the clip, “Mehmaan Nawaazi Pathaan ke ghar par… Thank u all my Mehmaans for making my Sunday so full of love. Grateful. Happy. Loved.”
Paulo Coelho shared the clip and wrote, “King. Legend . Friend. But above all GREAT ACTOR ( for those who don’t know him in the West, I strongly suggest “My name is Khan- and I am not a terrorist”).”
In a separate tweet he alluded to the controversy surrounding Pathaan in India and wrote, “The release of “Pathaan” last week drew threats and calls for a boycott from India’s increasingly emboldened right wing. But audiences turned up in huge numbers to see Shah Rukh Khan.”
Pathaan creates history
Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone starrer Pathaan has already grossed Rs 667 crore worldwide. Of this Rs 417 crore has been raked in by the makers in India, while overseas, the film has earned Rs 250 crore gross.
Film critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted that Pathaan has taken the numero uno position with Rs 667 crore at box office. Coming in at number two is Salman Khan’s 2017 film Tiger Zinda Hai had a cumulative worldwide gross of Rs 559.86 crore. Coming in the third position was Hrithik Roshan’s 2019 film War, which grossed Rs 477 crore at the worldwide box office and Salman’s Ek Tha Tiger, which released in 2012 raked in Rs 318.19 crore.
