The second wave of the COVID-19 surge in India has been affecting almost everyone we know. While the healthcare workers go above and beyond to take care of those in need, the rapid rise in the cases have left everyone alarmed.
The last week in particular has been awful as numerous lives have been lost due to the virus. Celebrities Ann’s their family members have also succumbed to the virus. Sneha Wagh’s father passed away due to COVID-19 complications, KV Anand, and Bikramjeet Kanwarpal also passed away.
It’s not been reported that popular Kannada TV anchor Pradeep Machiraju’s father has also passed away. The anchor’s team took to Twitter to share that he passed away last night due to the virus.
Like many other celebs, Pradeep too took advantage of his 1.4 million followers on Twitter to spread awareness on the second surge and share reliable and verified leads for oxygen cylinders and beds.

On the other hand Hindi TV actor Aniruddh Dave has been hospitalised and in the Intensive Care Until after testing positive for the novel coronavirus. His family instantly moved to Bhopal where he has been hospitalised. Aniruddh’s wife Shubi took to social media to share a snap of her husband with their 2-month-old son. She further shared that she had to leave her baby to be by her husband’s side during these difficult times.
She wrote, “While im on d way to Aniruddh whos critically suffering at d moment .. i had to leave back home my 2 month old Anishq and this definitely a biggest challenge i have faced as he on one side he is dependent on me as i ws nursing him & on d other side i need to be beside Aniruddh as well .. Having d toughest time of my life . PLEASE PRAY ,I request every dear ones, our frds,family, colleagues,fans of Aniruddh. Is waqt Mere Aniruddh aur Anishq ke Papa ko aapke prayers ki bahut bahut zarurat hai .. hum sab milkar usko theek kar sakte hain .. aap sab uski wellbeing ke liye pray kare.”
