Tara Sutaria, who made her debut with Student of the Year 2 is all set to be back to our screens with Ek Villain Returns. The movie will co-star John Abraham, Arjun Kapoor, and Disha Patani in the leading roles.
Tara has had her share of releases so far, quizzed her what is the kind of pressure or feelings she goes through right before a movie releases, if there’s a pressure about the numbers at the box office, among other things.
Tara tells us, “Before I was acting in the movies, I used to perform a lot in the theatre and on the stage, it was a different kind of nervous feeling when you go on stage because you don’t get to take a double take, you don’t get to reshoot things when you mess up, so the kind of nerves I used to feel before I was a film actress was very different and it is a little less nerve wrecking for me because I feel like you can always do another take.
Nonetheless, she added, “Fortunately there haven’t been many of those, you do feel nervous when you start something new, you want it to go well, there’s a slight sense of pressure when the film releases, you hope it does well but as someone who has not necessarily thought of commercials with regard to any film that I have done, so far (touchwood) it has worked out just well for me.”
Meanwhile, Tara has also made her Bollywood singing debut with Ek Villain Returns. Titled Shaamat, the song has received a lot of love so far, and she also went on to share a thankyou note for the same.
