Superstar Rajinikanth calls R Madhavan’s Rocketry a must-watch film; says, ‘He’s at par with best directors’

The much-awaited R Madhavan film Rocketry: The Nambi Effect is leaving no stone unturned at the box office with its inspiring story of former Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) scientist and aerospace engineer, Nambi Narayanan.
The Rehnaa Terre Dil Mein actor not only plays the lead role in this film, but has also written, produced and directed it. R Madhavan embarked on his debut as a director with this film. The movie also features the undisputed King of Bollywood, Shah Rukh Khan playing a cameo role in the Hindi and English version and Jai Bhim actor Suriya in the South version.
The film was released on July 1 and ever since, it has earned accolades and immense love from all over the world. Joining the club is megastar Rajinikanth, who took to Twitter and shared his opinions on how this movie is a ‘must watch’, especially for the youth. The actor also congratulated Madhavan on his directorial debut adding that his work was at par with the best directors.
He penned down in Tamil that apparently read, “Rocketry is a must-watch movie for everyone – especially the youth. For the space research development of our country. Mr Padma Bhushan, who suffered many hardships and made sacrifices. Madhavan has proved himself to be at par with the best directors in his first film as a director by portraying the story of Nambi Narayanan very realistically. My thanks and appreciation to him for giving me such a movie.”
During the screening by the Ministry of Information and Broadcast in Delhi, the Bollywood actor explained how this film is a celebration of India’s technological power across the world and the IT sectors. He said, “It is a tribute to the master Nambi Narayanan whose Vikas engine never fails and also conveyed the message of India’s soft power skill sets to the world concerning human resource expertise and scientific excellence.”
