ajshri Rani of Suhani Se Ek Ladki fame tied the knot with boyfriend actor Gaurav Mukesh Jain in Gwalior on November 20. The newlyweds have cancelled their honeymoon plans due to the novel coronavirus pandemic.

On the wedding day, Rajshri Rani looked beautiful in a red lehenga with intricate golden embroidery and a light pink dupatta, while Gaurav looked dapper in an off-white sherwani that he paired up with a floral printed saafa. Talking about her look, Rajshri said, “I loved my lehenga. It felt as though it was made for me. It was neither too heavy nor too light. I always believe that more than looking beautiful, you should feel beautiful, and I felt so beautiful.”

RAJSHRI RANI WANTED A DESTINATION WEDDING

Talking about how Covid-19 pandemic ruined her plans, Rajshri said, “I wanted to have a big grand destination wedding but it was a close-knit family affair. I never thought the guests will have to maintain social-distancing at my wedding. But all’s well that ends well.”

Rajshri and Gaurav met on the sets of Suhani Si Ek Ladki where Gaurav played Rajshri’s brother-in-law. The duo has been best of friends since then until the actor proposed to her a few months ago. Actor Shashank Vyas also attended the wedding as Gaurav Mukhesh is one of his close friends.

Rajshri Rani was last seen on Yeh Jadu Hai Jinn Ka. The actress rose to fame with her role as Suhani Birla in Suhani Si Ek Ladki. Suhani will resume work with new show Namak Ishq Ka, as soon as her wedding festivities get over.
